Teresa Cäcilia Ramming studied musicology, Germany literature and general comparative literature at the University of Zurich (master’s degree completed in July 2017). Her interdisciplinary master’s thesis Die Musik in Simone de Prodenzanis »Il Saporetto« was awarded the semester prize by the University of Zurich. From 2018 to 2020, she was an intern at the Brahms-Institut, Musikhochschule Lübeck, within the framework of the »Lübecker Modell« at Zentrum für Kulturwissenschaft Lübeck (ZKFL), where she has, among others, curated the exhibition »a BRIEF history« (together with Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Sandberger). She is writing her doctoral thesis on Max Kalbeck’s monumental biography Johannes Brahms with Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Sandberger. Since August 2022, she is a research associate working on the large-scale project »Brahms-Portal« funded by the State of Schleswig-Holstein and the Possehl Foundation. She writes programme notes for various cultural institutions and festivals.
